Introduction to Grooming Basic Grooming & Dog Handling Advanced Grooming

As a name synonymous with canine grooming excellence and unique artistry skill, the DOGUE Grooming Academy was a direct response to public demand, combined with company focus to build an in-house talent pool of groomers to increase our recruitment efficiencies and service our growing network. The very first grooming seminar was held at the DOGUE Country Retreat late 2015. The academy currently offers three grooming courses that range from Introductory to Advanced Grooming.

  • Introduction to Grooming (3 days): introductory course – also ideal

for the person who wants to groom their own dog at home.

  • Assistant Groomer and Day Care Handler (2 weeks): washing,

brushing, drying, nail clipping and pre-clipping.

Training

Every DOGUE franchisee undergoes Orientation training prior to their pre-launch phase, which covers everything from business management, marketing, recruitment, and finance. Two weeks before the franchise opens, the franchisee along with their store team attend Induction training, when all aspects of daily operations are the key focus – from systems, product knowledge, customer service, and grooming.

Marketing Support

Marketing at DOGUE is all about creating awareness, building the brand, influencing sales and gaining loyalty by defining and understanding our target consumer and their consumption habits, behaviours and motivators.
