believe that to this day. You can bend the course

Heroin Bliss

It started when I was young, Chasing shadows like there was no tomorrow, Soon enough I was highly strung, Just adding to my sorrow. I was living in heroin bliss, All of life’s happenings I seem to miss, I used to call it my mistress, All of the chea@ng and lies just to get this? I lost everything known to man, It’s like the heroin had a plan, To strip me bare, Reduce me to tears, And without a care, Leave me in despair. Now I’m strong and I have no fear, The heroin is gone and I can see clear, New life happenings don’t pass me by, And I’m no longer wondering why, why, why? I can look up into the sky and longer feel like I want to die, For I am strong and I have no fear, The heroin is gone and my mind is clear.
