Consumerist Feminism is the base of all feminist ideals. Generally seen in Disney films as the feisty female protagonist.
In the past few decades Disney has presented audiences with “feisty” princesses. Though these women pack a punch, these popular tales such as Beauty and the Beast, Tangled (Rapunzel) and Frozen are all examples of consumerist
they must rely on a man as well as uphold unrealistic beauty standards.
