Patient Savings Program

Next Gen has partnered with LDM and is no longer using PDR for this service.

  • When a prescription is printed or ePrescribed, data is sent to LDM in order

to determine if savings are available. If savings coupon exists, the results are returned to EHR, a code will display on RX Print, Fax and ERX and the code will be returned to the pharmacy

  • Script Guides (education) can be printed with medications. This is similar

to the monograph feature although is it not replacing it.

  • In the event that that pharmacy does not receive the code, the coupons

can be manually printed

  • This service can be enable through NextGen Communication Services and

requires set up in Practice Preferences and User Preferences
