Project Overview
- For the first 8 yrs., DSM has had no home Dept. - interdisciplinary
- Due to program instability, it was considered for elimination
- Asked by Dean’s Office to take it over with approval from Robert Whalin
- DSM now integrated into the Geog. Degree Program

- Launched Concentration in DSM within both the BA and BS degrees in Geog.
- Launched a Minor in DSM for students in other depts.
Goals:
- Continue Building Internship Program partnering with Emergency Mgmt.

- Continued Participation in the Summer Research Experience (SUMREX)
Program with universities within consortium
- Participation in the RETALK program – Spring lecture by Don Resio
- Train Students to add to Homeland Security Enterprise Workforce
