2011 is the Year of Radiotherapy

  • 100 years since Marie Curie was given her second Nobel Peace Prize
  • National group to raise public awareness of Radiotherapy as a

successful treatment modality. Myself and Jane Barrett (clinical

  • ncologist) sit on this group
  • Local activities planned. Day in the Life of a Therapy Radiographer,

more open evenings for patients, open days for general public
