DURATION : 50-60 minutes AUDIENCE : Ages 5 - 11 LANGUAGE : English / French or both Dana & The Petit Punks present What Do You Want To Be? (Qu’est-ce que tu veux-être) , a high energy, interactive electropop concert for children in English and/or French. Created by New York musician Dana Boulé, this interactive one woman show mixes beats, language, comedy and pop music. Original, catchy pop songs are presented in a fun way as Dana switches back and forth between English and French versions using a control pedal board. Every song is a sing-a-long as the audience is invited to become The Petit Punks and release their inner rock star in both languages. The concert can be performed in conjunction with songwriting and performing workshops. Participants are invited on stage to perform or present their original compositions as part of the show. Dana jumps between instrument stations featuring electric guitar, a wearable keyboard, a toy piano on wheels and a DJ computer hub. Over the backdrop of beats, she uses come- dy and imagination to tell colorful stories about kindness, joy, chickens and ninjas. Jumping into the audience to sing and dance alongside the kids, Dana encourages them to join the party as they sing into a mic and show off their dance moves.
