Activities will be group dependent - no group will do exactly the same. This will be based on interests and skills of the group. Some activities include:

Kit List

  • Walking boots, waterproof trousers,

waterproof jacket and a day walking bag are provided

  • Welcome to bring your own if you

want, but please don’t feel you need to go out and buy these especially

Taking Responsibility & Building Independence

  • Being in the right place at the right time
  • All members of the Clan must be present before they can go for dinner
  • Equipped for the day
  • Pupils are responsible for looking after equipment

○ £10 deposit (letters will go home shortly)

  • Rooms - making beds, daily room inspection

No mobile phones, cameras ipads etc. Pupils are more than welcome to bring:

  • Cards
  • Books
  • Ball
  • Pencil case

  • Maximum £15 for the week
  • Open in the evenings
  • Snacks and juice
  • Mugs etc.
  • Pupils are responsible for keeping this money safe
  • No requirement to bring additional money

Medication

  • We have all the medical information as highlighted in the medical forms

and have passed this on to the centre.

  • Clan leaders will be informed of specific medical needs of pupils in their

group and will carry necessary medication.

  • Epi pens - must be 2 - one to be kept by the Clan Leader and one to be kept at

the Loch Eil Office base

  • All medication must be passed to Miss Morton or Miss Earnshaw on

Tuesday morning, please ensure this is all labelled with your child’s name

  • n it.

Key Arrangements

Leaving

  • Tuesday 23rd April - Arrive at school for 9am as usual - bags to placed in the school hall
  • Leave school at 10.30am
  • Pupils should all bring a snack and packed lunch

Returning

  • Friday 26th April - Leave centre at 1.30pm
  • Arriving back at Crown at approximately 3.15pm, traffic dependent. We will post on blog

and twitter when we leave the centre. Please ensure your child has sickness tablets/bands if they experience traffic sickness for the Tuesday and Friday.
