  6. Structure of the Day ● Breakfast - 8am ● Meet your Clan ● Morning activity (with break) ● Lunch ● Afternoon activity ● Dinner ● Evening Activity ● Hot drink ● Bed - lights out at 10pm

  7. Activities Activities will be group dependent - no group will do exactly the same. This will be based on interests and skills of the group. Some activities include: ● Canoeing ● Hill Walk ● Zip line ● Crate stack ● Gorge walking ● Jacob’s Ladder ● Kayaking ● Abseiling

  8. Kit List ● Walking boots, waterproof trousers, waterproof jacket and a day walking bag are provided ● Welcome to bring your own if you want, but please don’t feel you need to go out and buy these especially ● Layers! ● Trousers which dry easily ● Plenty of socks ● Spare pair of shoes

  9. Food Snack and Lunches: ● 2 x filled rolls ● Juice ● Fruit ● Packet of crisps ● 1 brownie ● 1 flapjack Dinner: ● 3 choices of main meal per day ● 1 additional vegetarian option ● Pudding - sweet/fruit/yoghurt

Taking Responsibility & Building Independence ● Being in the right place at the right time ● All members of the Clan must be present before they can go for dinner ● Equipped for the day ● Pupils are responsible for looking after equipment ○ £10 deposit (letters will go home shortly) ● Rooms - making beds, daily room inspection

  11. Electronic Free week! No mobile phones, cameras ipads etc. Pupils are more than welcome to bring: ● Cards ● Books ● Ball ● Pencil case

  12. Shop ● Maximum £15 for the week ● Open in the evenings ● Snacks and juice ● Mugs etc. ● Pupils are responsible for keeping this money safe ● No requirement to bring additional money

  13. Medication ● We have all the medical information as highlighted in the medical forms and have passed this on to the centre. ● Clan leaders will be informed of specific medical needs of pupils in their group and will carry necessary medication. ● Epi pens - must be 2 - one to be kept by the Clan Leader and one to be kept at the Loch Eil Office base ● All medication must be passed to Miss Morton or Miss Earnshaw on Tuesday morning, please ensure this is all labelled with your child’s name on it.

Key Arrangements Leaving ● Tuesday 23rd April - Arrive at school for 9am as usual - bags to placed in the school hall ● Leave school at 10.30am ● Pupils should all bring a snack and packed lunch Returning ● Friday 26th April - Leave centre at 1.30pm ● Arriving back at Crown at approximately 3.15pm, traffic dependent. We will post on blog and twitter when we leave the centre. Please ensure your child has sickness tablets/bands if they experience traffic sickness for the Tuesday and Friday.
