A methodology for taking the Voice of the Customer. Used to translate customer requirements into product
specifications or design parameters.
It is often sufficient to translate the VOC into CTQs. A prerequisite to QFD is Market Research.

Approach:
First, list the VOC. Second, weight the importance of each
statement (from 1 to 10).
Third, list the CTQs. Forth, rate the strength of the
relationship (use the std. symbols).
Finally, add up the weighted scores for
each CTQ to establish which should be given highest priority.
