What to expect

  • Northeastern University has university housing or recommended housing in Midtown

Manhattan, Brooklyn, NY, Chicago, IL, Washington, D.C. Mountain View, CA, San Francisco CA, and Seattle, WA. We also offer a multitude of resources to support students in the process of securing housing for a beyond Boston co-op.

  • The process of searching for and securing housing will vary depending on the location you

are heading. Our office and our campus partners can help you with that process by providing:

  • Pre-departure planning
  • Housing resources
  • A connection to students who have completed, or are currently completing their co-
  • p in the location you are interested in

Addressing your Boston housing while you are away on co-op

Students who live off campus are typically signing a lease for the standard 12 month term. What should you do if you want to accept a beyond Boston co-op that would mean relocating before the move-out date on your lease? Set up an appointment with OCHSS! Bring your lease and we can walk you through your options, including how to go to about subletting your apartment.
