Club strategy

The strategy we have been working towards to improve the clubs operational and financial position while maintaining our two boat model We need to increase the intake of our sailing fees – More active use of both of our yachts from our members throughout the seasons. Cash flow management – Payment of sailing fees earlier in the year Increasing membership – recruitment campaigns (brochures & posters). Club Information packs Communications – What’s App instant messaging & Website, sailing booking calendar and documents access

We needs Skippers & members to assist in filling the sailing seasons now and going forward We need new members

Khamsin-B

• Khamsin enjoyed the longest club season to date
• Joining the Interpol Coppers cup towards the end of September
• Wintered in Bari

• Incident, Khamsin-B hit storm-breaker rocks sloping out from wall of the marina
• Inspection in Bari showed damage to the bow and bow thruster
• Repair work been carried out by Ranieri marina, which includes antifouling and storage
• Amel carried out repairs to the bow thruster

Croatia 2018 – Documents required and procedures

• Skipper should have a signed notarized permission letter for use of Khamsin-B from boat owner/club
• Boat documents including proof of VAT paid
• Entering the Republic of Croatia by sea find nearest harbor master location for borderline control. In our case

the Island VIS, harbor master location, https://www.croatiatravelinfo.com/item/harbor-masters-office-vis/

• At the Harbor master's office certify the crew list and obtain Vignette document cost 1500 Kuna
• Call to the local police with passport details

• Incident mid-season when the rudder sleeve snapped, so out of action for some time
• Service work included replacement of the rudder sleeve, running rigging and engine service
