- Strengthen involvement in a few activities that
are genuinely interesting
- Take the PSAT in October—just for practice
- Consider a Winterim college tour
Timeline—The second half of high school
11th Grade
- Make this your strongest academic year yet
- Meet with college reps who visit Dawson
- Take the PSAT in October.
- Do some kind of test prep for ACT/SAT in
spring
- Begin College Counseling class in January
- Attend individual meetings with counselor
12th grade
- Attend individual meetings with counselor
- Attend College Counseling class in the fall
- Finish standardized testing
- Work with counselor on college apps
