Added On-Ramps 2014-2015In helping HHMI at Janelia, we are moving their efforts to better understand the drosophila (fly) brain, and in turn, ours. In this class, we switch from tracing the drosophila's neurons in the Bock Lab CATMAID, to listening/presenting articles about different studies done on the brain and how it relates to what we are contributing to with

Bock Lab: the use of volume electron microscopy to study how the anatomical "wiring" diagram of synaptic connections between neurons to circuit function CATMAID: Collaborative Annotation Toolkit for Massive Amounts of Image DataYou will contribute to science and research that will further benefit the understanding of not only the fly brain, but the human brain too!
