  • Design an assessment methodology on the readiness of hosts to commercialise

their products, according to Awake’s priority standards:

§ price structure, product quality and added value, budgeting, promotional material, creation of adequate expectations, responsible practices, etc.

  • Validate with Awake’s tourism experts and other stakeholders.
  • Implement the TRA to beneficiary hosts on-site.
  • Present and socialize results with stakeholders

Output 2: Tourism offer portfolio developed and enhanced through accessibility to Awake’s online marketplace

  • Obtain information about their current tourism offer though internet research, telephone

calls, DMOs, Municipalities, and governmental institutions

  • On-site visits to enhance tourism offer and obtaining promotional material – weaknesses

found during the TRA will be improved on-site hand by hand with the hosts.

  • Upload enhanced tourism products to Awake’s marketplace –attractive description of

experiences, editing pictures, English translation and conservation efforts by host.

  • Design and implement marketing strategy for each destination

  • Create contents for courses through workshops with experts and stakeholders know-how.
  • Topics such as quality control, experience design, costing and pricing, technology inclusion , marketing and

promotion, hospitality and accommodation standards, security and risk management, sustainable practice

  • Define communication channels to transfer knowledge according to the connectivity limitations of the hosts.

This can include whatsapp audios, podcasts, videos, written docs, etc.

  • Design the e-learning platform and edit contents according to the structure defined above.
  • Train hosts (remotely) on accessing and using e-learning platform.
  • Follow up hosts until their completion of at least 1 course through remote training.
  • Visit prioritized sites to train hosts to strengthen capacities on tourism services and sustainability.
