The two little towns Ettelbruck and Diekirch offer all kind of infrastructure: Theatre Sport shopping Hospital Events Theatre Railway-Station Schools Restaurants and beer

The surrounding villages have all rural characters:

Many elderly people, espacially when they are living alone, leave their houses in the little villages and come living in the city of Diekirch or Ettelbruck to be close to their all day needs. Those who are staying in the villages often have problems with transport and so there is risk of isolation.

Courses for health prevention are an important part of our activities. We offer regulary in our programm: Qi Gong, relaxation, brain training, wellness day‘s , healthy cooking etc.

Our projectpartner and neighbour – the regional Youth-House

"Nordstadjugendhaus Ettelbruck" is a youth center for young people between 12 and 25 years. . The youth center is one of two in the region “Nordstad” which are centrally managed by the non-profit association "Nordstadjugend a.s.b.l." They offer 4 service-areas: regional youth work, youth center Ettelbruck, youth center Diekirch and the coordination of the single domains. The youth center Ettelbruck is situated next to the "Club Senior Nordstad"-

• ffice and we are in close contact.

In the youth center in Ettelbruck work 3 qualified educators. They organize projects and activities with educational complexion for the young people.
