Vision Statement Develop a program that will drive volunteerism within the congregation, help beautify church grounds, maintain grounds throughout the year for new membership "curb appeal", and keep control of the designed intentions for the grounds

Volunteer Guidelines:

  • Volunteers should make their own schedules

throughout the year, but are expected to complete work for their lots during the Spring and Fall cleanup weeks (scheduled in preparation for holiday seasons)

  • Additional plantings are not permitted unless

approved by the property committee so that we can keep the controlled designs provided by Colonial Gardens (pro bono)

  • All tools are provided to help our volunteers be

efficient and are to be stored and secured upon completion *

  • Any issues with tools should be reported to the

program manager on property committee ASAP so that corrections can be made.

  • Use of tools are on first-come, first-serve during times
  • f multiple volunteers
  • If a sponsoring unit (Family, Group, etc) can no longer

support, please alert the program manager on property committee so that changes can be coordinated

  • Grass cutting/edging of all grounds is coordinated with

the cemetery committee; no cutting needed

  • Cemetery plots will be covered under a similar, but

different program. * NOTE: Due to limitations of the Coronavirus response, tools have not been procured. Please plan to bring tools for the first cleanup. All efforts will be made to complete the procurement completely for the fall.
