As a church family we come together with a common goal of being “a healthy church at work”, and Christians who are; “Called by the love of God in Jesus Christ, using the gifts that God provides, we Reach up in worship Reach in for discipleship Reach out with Christ’s love”
Essex CRC Vision Statement
Council has provided this Vision Statement to serve as a guide for the Search Committee as they view potential candidates.
Reach Up: In worship
- Possesses a strong biblical worldview in which God’s word is infallible
and foundational; adheres to the church’s confessions and creeds
- Encourages authentic worship and spiritual growth
- Demonstrates and fosters within the congregation an active prayer life
Reach In: For discipleship
- Effective communicator

- Demonstrates initiative and capitalizes on opportunities for growth
within the congregation such as a young adult bible study
