Work Completed To Date (Route 28 Only) • Approximately 20% of the Gravity Sewer installed • Approximately 15% of the Force Main installed • No pressure sewers installed on Route 28 • Previous areas of work – Between Beacon Hill and Ridgevale Road – Vineyard and Waveland Route 28 Fall 2010
Construction Times and Project Constraints MassDOT/Contract • No work between Memorial Day and Labor Day • No work between November 15 and April 15 • No work the day before or after a holiday • Work allowed from 7 am to 7 pm Project Constraints • Narrow Road Layout • Multiple Utilities • One Closure • One lane “open” in all other areas Route 28 Fall 2010
