  • The Bettendorf CSD is using the Raptor Visitor Management

System in all of their elementary buildings and middle school. Raptor is currently used by over 8,000 K-12 schools and community facilities, such as YMCAs to keep children safe from sexual predators.

  • The first time a guest staff works in each of these buildings, the

individual will need to present a driver's license or government ID to the building secretary. Raptor will perform an instant sex

  • ffender background check against the registered sex offender

databases in all 50 states using the photo ID. Once an individual has been cleared by Raptor, he/she needs only to sign in/out of Raptor for each subsequent guest staff assignment.

  • Guest staff who provide services to Bettendorf High School will

check in/out with the building secretary in the office.

  • Please accept jobs through the computer, phone, or Jobulator.
  • Preferred sub list:
  • You will only have a certain amount of time to accept a job if you are on

a preferred list before it goes out to another guest staff member.

  • If you are already in an assignment, you will not get notice of a job that

becomes open.

  • If any changes are made in the preferred sub list after an absence is

entered, the absence will not go out to the preferred sub.

  • There are many variables that go into the preferred sub list, it is hard to

pinpoint the exact reason why a guest staff member did not receive the job if they were on a preferred list.

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate personal request for guest

staff unless it is for a long term position or specialty area (ex: foreign language, music lessons)
