CCL Background

  • INN University has over 20 years experience in coordinating international

research collaboration on consumer education and education for sustainable living.

  • INN University led the EU research networks: the Consumer Citizenship

Network (CCN, 2003-2009) and the Partnership for Education and Research about Responsible Living (PERL, 2009-2015).

  • PERL partners include140 institutions in 50 countries around the world.
  • In 2015, INN University was awarded the UNESCO Chair on Education for

Sustainable Lifestyles based on this experience, and in 2016 the University established the Centre as a continued basis for this work.
