Young people who participate regularly in the arts (three hours a day on three days each week through one full year) are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate.

Application Process

  • Applications will be available in the front office at

Central Elementary School or Online (SDPC Email Link).

  • When returned to CES, office staff will sign, date and

time stamp the applications. Online applications will be printed.

  • District Office staff will follow through with the

application process and determine enrollment.

  • Letters of acceptance will be mailed to students,

March 9th.

  • Students not selected will be placed on a waiting list.
