What is CCP?

Career & College Promise is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to take college classes while still enrolled in high school. Students may choose from the following

College Transfer Pathway Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway Workforce Continuing Education (WCE) Pathway

College Transfer Pathway

For students who plan to attend a 4-year university To determine eligibility, use the following check list:

  • 11th or 12th grade student
  • Have a cumulative weighted

high school GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Demonstrate college readiness

For students who plan to pursue a 2-year technical degree, diploma and/or certificate for entry level careers To determine eligibility, use the following check list:

  • 11th or 12th grade student
  • Cumulative weighted high school GPA of

3.0 or higher OR have recommendation from high school principal or his/her designee

For students who plan to pursue a diploma and/or certificate or state or industry-recognized credential Student eligibility: 11th or 12th grade student Cumulative weighted high school GPA of 3.0 of higher OR recommendation from high school principal or designee If applicable, meet individual pathway requirements as appropriate

New Student Enrollment and Registration To Do List

Determine a program of study area Apply online at BCC Provide an official transcript Provide a copy of appropriate assessment scores Submit a signed “Career and College Promise” Authorization Form Register in BCC course(s) Pay insurance and technology fee ($9.50 or $17.50) Complete Orientation Acquire a BCC ID, parking decal (as needed), textbooks (as needed)
