  2. � Career & College Promise is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to take college classes while still enrolled in high school. Students may choose from the following What is options: � College Transfer Pathway CCP? � Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway � Workforce Continuing Education (WCE) Pathway

  3. For students who plan to attend a 4-year university College To determine eligibility, use the following check list: Transfer 11 th or 12 th grade student • Have a cumulative weighted • Pathway high school GPA of 3.0 or higher Demonstrate college readiness • on one of the following assessments

For students who plan to pursue a 2-year technical degree , diploma and/or certificate for entry level careers Career & To determine eligibility, use the following Technical check list: Education • 11 th or 12 th grade student Pathway • Cumulative weighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher OR have recommendation from high school principal or his/her designee

  7. � Accounting and Finance � Health Information Technology � Aquaculture Technology � Healthcare Business Informatics Career & � Biotechnology � Horticulture Technology Technical � Business Administration � Information Systems � Computer Programming & � Office Administration Education Development � Turfgrass Management � Cosmetology* Pathway – � Welding Technology* � Early Childhood Education* Programs � Electronics Engineering � * These programs will fulfill the � Health and Fitness Science high school CTE pathway of Study

  8. � For students who plan to pursue a diploma and/or certificate or state or industry-recognized credential � Student eligibility: � 11 th or 12 th grade student � Cumulative weighted high school GPA of 3.0 of Workforce higher OR recommendation from high school Continuing principal or designee � If applicable, meet individual pathway Education requirements as appropriate Pathway Program of Study Areas : Culinary Firefighter Academy HVAC *These will not count as high school credits

  9. � Determine a program of study area � Apply online at BCC � Provide an official transcript New Student � Provide a copy of appropriate assessment scores Enrollment � Submit a signed “Career and College Promise” and Authorization Form Registration � Register in BCC course(s) � Pay insurance and technology fee ($9.50 or $17.50) To Do List � Complete Orientation � Acquire a BCC ID, parking decal (as needed), textbooks (as needed)

  10. � Jumpstart a two-year or four-year degree with transfer classes � Tuition-Free classes; only pay a technology and Benefits of insurance fee CCP � Career Exploration prior to graduating high school Courses � Develop a career prior to graduating high school, becoming more employable when you graduate
