FC Ente Bagdad and refugees

  • Increasing refugees flows in 2014 → we start planning our help
  • Integration of ~15 refugees into our adult team
  • Welcome to football project in 2015 → FC Ente Bagdad opens itself to

youth players (~30 refugees and 5 locals)

  • Together with Vitesse Mayence a youth league team is founded in

2016

  • In order to effectively integrate refugees we strive for a familiar

atmosphere between locals and refugees on and outside the pitch

  • Personal development of refugees by delegating responsibilities (e.g.

assistant coaching of the youth team, organizing events)

  • Support in job applications, CVs, finding internships, apartments, etc.
  • Pay for the refugees expenses of sports materials and participation of

events, German courses, free membership for refugees
