How did this happen?
Somewhere along the way, our school underwent a change. We moved from a school of individuals to a family of learners. It wasn’t painless It wasn’t quick It wasn’t for everyone

Putting the “fun” in fundations
- Daily instruction with fidelity
- New teachers receive training and modeled lesson by our reading
interventionist until they feel comfortable to teach on their own
- Encourage personal twist within Fundations
- Emphasize the “Art” of teaching Fundations without jeopardizing
the “Science” behind it

Interventions
First of all, Tier 1 has to be successful. We cannot provide interventions for 50% of our students. ➔ Bartley Blitz: Read Live, Fundations Double Dose, Comprehension Strategies, Writing Instruction, Enrichment ➔ Study Skills Small Groups ➔ Gross and Fine Motor Skills Groups ➔ Small Group Instruction within the classroom
