• A project of the Global Co Lab Network Inspired by Martin Luther

King Jr.

• A collaborative of teens and adults who want to encourage teens to

be change agents in their own lives, their communities, and the world.

• Encourages teens to express, share and network around their dreams

as they relate to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We work via a global video contest and virtual Dream Hubs

Teens Dream Mission

• Educate youth & teachers about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development

Goals (UN SDGs)

• Empower youth globally to positively impact their environments by challenging

them to think and express their own dream as it relates to one of the SDG goals

• Celebrate video contest winners with prizes, a trip to Washington DC, recognition at

annual celebration, and the opportunity to be a Teens Dream Ambassador

• Provide platforms for teens to publicize their efforts and reach a wider audience
• Connect teens with adults who specialize in a shared area of interest through

in-person meetings and virtual Dream Hubs to provide networking opportunities and maximize youth impact

• Create Action led by youth to actualize their dreams and visions as they relate to a

UN SDG through the resources and empowerment Teens Dream provides

Dream Hubs

• Virtual spaces framed by one of the UN SDGs
• Led by Teen Ambassadors and an adult mentor who work

collaboratively & globally to shift from education to action on the SDGs

• Existing Hubs: Arts Dream Hub, Quality Education Dream Hub, Zero

Hunger Dream Hub

• Dream Hubs will eventually be expanded to represent all 17 SDGs, with

Good Health and Well-being Dream Hub currently in the works, which will primarily focus on mental health

• Co Lab is also engaged in a partnership with the Smithsonian to create

design lab salons to develop a network of Mentors and Ambassadors for Dream Hubs of the environmentally-focused SDGs
