1st Lesson - “A block of clay…I wonder what can I do with it?” 2nd Lesson - “I didn’t know that clay can be re-cycled?” 3rd Lesson - At art studio…Wow! This is really a place for messy work.” 4th Lesson - “Wow! Exploring with clay has no limit to what I can do.”

Childrens’ Reflection

1st Lesson - “I don’t want to touch…yucky!” “So sticky and cold”, “Eee, dirty”. 2nd Lesson – Children wanted to manipulate the block of clay in any way they wanted to. Some were poking it with a stick, some were flattening it with their hands, others were punching it with their fist. 3rd Lesson – Children got comfortable in their exploration, they started to get excited and curious using some of the tools such as the cutter to cut the clay, the roller to flatten the clay, or simply using their hand to roll the clay into a long snake. 4th Lesson - Children’s creation have stated to take form and shape out as they perceive it in their mind and created it through their imagination.
