  • live and almond trees in arid conditions in West Bank and Gaza Strip.
  • The objective of the Cocoon-project as introducing knowledge and

innovative ideas to the region.

Aims of the project

  • In 2016, 600 trees in the West

Bank and 300 trees in the Gaza Strip were planted using COCOON.

  • In 2017, we are aiming to

plant 3,000 trees in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip by end of 2018.

Future vision To overcome the environmental challenges in MENA, such as desertification, droughts, soil degradation, and water stress, MENAQUA aims to bring COCOON to all MENA countries. What we are looking for? Private and public companies, local and international NGOs, to create with us a greener future for MENA region.
