Hospitality: Practical Cookery introduces learners to the exciting and demanding world of the Hospitality industry. It develops a range of practical based cookery skills for life and for work. People with these skills and knowledge are well placed to undertake further training at college or move straight into thecatering workplace. This is a mainly practical based course which allows Pupils to develop a knowledge and understanding of foods and cookery related skills to use at home, in the wider community

Fashion & Textiles, as the name suggests introduces pupils to the Fashion and Textile
will be valuable for life and for the world of work. People with these skills are well placed to undertake training or courses in further education on leaving school, or move directly into the fashion/textile industries to developtheirskills further on thejob. The main purpose of the course is to develop the practical skills, construction techniques, knowledge and understanding which supports activities in the fashion/textileindustry.
