History In history of water treatment, engineering constitutes a rich scientific and technical adventure whose pioneers were inventors, hydraulic experts, engineers and architects. The growing importance of environmental issues and their impact on our life has given rise to the need for investments and development of engineering solutions to problems overlooked thus far. The increase in population along with the fast growing industrial sector has caused the deterioration of the scarce water supplies, resulting in the eruption of the need for treating water and wastewater. Fascinated by the rich history and great achievements AquaTreat was established as an engineering company specialized in water and wastewater and bio-solids. AquaTreat has grown from a small fabrication shop building small skid mounted Filters, softeners and Reverse Osmosis units to an engineering and construction group specialized in water and wastewater treatment. AquaTreat through its Business Units offers clients a comprehensive service covering all aspects of the treatment and disposal of sewage and industrial effluents, and the treatment and disposal of all associated sludge as well as purification, conveyance and desalination of water. AquaTreat Group operations cover project engineering, supply, implementation and building turnkey plants to suit client’s requirements. The company’s activities range from offering water solutions for skid mounted water and wastewater purification plants to multi-million gallon custom built plants. Despite its fairly short history AquaTreat has managed to engineer, manufacture, install and service over 2,000 water and wastewater plants. Today AquaTreat produces more than 100,000 cum/day of potable water. AquaTreat offers fast response, well designed systems with quality components, quick delivery, complete installations, commissioning and operation.

All the activities of the company are executed in accordance with our internal Quality Assurance Manual and within the relevant procedures. I NNOVATION Each project is a fresh challenge. At every stage design engineers work hand in hand with managers and technicians to develop innovative solutions. Reducing the gap between basic and applied research in order to develop effective solutions to solve actual problems. This effort include tests on pilot units, computer simulation, trial runs, with new and approved technologies ad process engineering. Our objective and commitment is to pursue ever ending improvement in quality and design, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible product economically available. AquaTreat believes that quality values must be internalized at every level of the organization. Our approach to communicating and implementing these values is one of encouragement, education and training. Ongoing education and individual support provide employees with the tools, confidence and motivation they need to implement AquaTreat' s quality philosophy. All AquaTreat procedures starting from first being approached by the client, through offer preparation, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, project management, commissioning and ending by the final handing over to the client are governed by AquaTreat Internal Quality Assurance Manual and are audited periodically by the Quality Control Department. Stringent measures are taken against any non-conformity. Quality performance is a commitment to excellence by each of AquaTreat 's employees. It is achieved by teamwork and a process of continuous improvement. Quality at AquaTreat is never compromised. ISO 9001 The company is committed to continually improve its management system through implementing and complying with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system, which covers all the company’s operations and applies to all company’s personnel. The company is committed to establish and continuously review the quality objectives that it strives to achieve through the periodic meetings of its quality steering committee.
D OCUMENT C ONTROL The importance of document control is emphasized in several company procedures and their revision is regulated by change control procedures. A register of the latest issue of all company procedures is to be kept in the Master File. When documents having contractual significance are to be canceled they are appropriately endorsed and kept for reference. A list of preferred vendors is held on computer file to be updated on a regular basis. Vendor assessments are conducted either as the need arises or at regular intervals.
