Rich Denning approached Past Chair Rod Johnson about merger; discussion points included

  • Transfer of OH funds and their use; impact on IRS reporting
  • Membership (MI has a fee, OH did not)

Michigan Section agreed to

  • Add all Ohio members to Michigan email distribution list; all Ohio

members annual fee waived 1st year

  • Will attempt to have at least 1, if not more, meetings in Ohio each year
  • Made arrangements to start recording dinner presentations to be

shared with members unable to attend the meetings in person

  • Added an extra position to the EC for a former Ohio member; similar to

the positions for a student and plant-branch representatives
