Are your security concerns consistent with local crime rates? Will other adults join in firearms training? Do risk factors exist? Do all adults in the home support having a gun? What precautions will you take to safeguard children?

Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction. Don't rely on your gun's “safety.” Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Be sure of your target and what's beyond it.
