PERFORMANCE OF THE COMPONENT

  • Exceptional range and variety of portfolios
  • Outcomes broadly similar to previous

specification despite the addition of Stimulus Composition B

  • Vast majority of portfolios settled in the C/D

grade boundary but less ‘bunching’.

  • Smaller amount of A* portfolios
  • Much fewer F/G grade boundary portfolios
  • Great credit to students which reflects on the

quality of teaching at centres
