What is a DC Busbar CORNER System? SYSTEMS • A DC or Direct Current busbar system carries electrical current around a plant when AC or Alternating Current can not be used. • These systems usually carry very large electrical currents of between 15,000 Amps and 100,000 Amps • Due to the large currents involved the systems use heavy sections of copper to conduct the electricity • With the heavy sections of copper involved a significant supports structure is required. • Systems can also be manufactured from Aluminium
