Basic Information

  • Bargaining Unit: Approximately 350 members
  • Contract Period: Four-year duration – September 1, 2016 to

August 31, 2020 (one year and three years)

  • Wages:

○ 2% in December 2016 (FY17) ○ 2% in December 2017 (FY18) ○ 2% in December 2018 (FY19) ○ 2% in December 2019 (FY20)

  • Total Overall Cost of Contract: $636,215

Highlights

  • This working group has direct contact with students: Members

prepare tables/trays, distribute meal cards, supervise luncheon recess and perform routine clerical work when asked.

  • The overall contract is working well: We have an effective

working relationship with this group, which resulted in minimum changes to the overall contract language.

  • Additional Step Provides Growth To Membership: This contract

gives lunch monitors an additional step at a 2% increase which provides for financial growth and recognition of longevity within the bargaining unit.
