From Run 12 Call for proposals: LCLS is currently developing “two color” opera?ng modes, where pairs of FEL pulses are produced with about 1% photon energy separa?on, in both the hard and soE X-ray regimes. We will accept proposals u/lizing two color opera/on. A polariza?on control undulator is planned to be installed in the LCLS this fall and will provide arbitrarily polarized radia?on with limited intensity in the soE x-ray regime.
