Worksmarter – Hot Desking

Hot desking and clear desk Staff in newly refurbished areas of Shire Hall have already started trialling the clear desk and hot desking approach. Hot Desking The opportunity to sit at different desks improves communication and helps build professional relationships across the

  • rganisation. Sitting and working alongside different people

every day also helps us to understand how the whole

  • rganisation works.
slide-57
SLIDE 57

Hot Desking : As of March - Located in Block 5, 6th floor : Contains

10 thin client computers and VOIP telephones, as well as Wi-Fi access for laptop users.

slide-58
SLIDE 58

Clear desks There are many benefits to the clear desk approach. Locking away confidential information reduces the threat of security breaches and information thefts, .. it shows we are taking corporate responsibility for the personal data in our care and that we are compliant with data protection regulations. A clear office also improves staff morale and helps people work more flexibly. We need a clear desk for hot desking to work.
