• To visit and conduct project presentation to target partner Academic Institution

in Cagayan de Oro

• Establish partnership with the target Academic Institution Partners
• To promote the CELLs three (3) pillars awareness and its objectives thru

increase numbers of collaborators/partners in Northern Mindanao area.

• 3. OUTPUT OF THE ACTIVITY:
• Initial commitment from the target Academic Institution to be in partnership

with Mindanao CELLs

• 4. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY
• Project presentations were conducted smoothly with the representatives

from the different Academic Institutions. Several questions were raised on the roles and responsibilities of their Universities, but were answered through the draft MOU developed by Mindanao CELLs

• All of the Academic Institutions were interested with the details of

partnership; however it was raised that they will still be presenting the idea to their heads of institutions

• Initial commitment were gathered through the project presentations

• 5. ISSUES/CHALLENGERS/RECOMMENDATIONS:

Issues/ challenges Recommendations/ agreements Permission from the heads of institutions to engage with Mindanao CELLs All materials (project brief, project presentations and draft MOU) were provided to the Academic Institutions. They assured that they will report to their heads of institution and provide feedback to the team.

• 6. NEXT STEPS:
• Academic Institutions Representatives will present to their Heads of Institutions

and provide feedback.

• Tentative dates of finalization of commitment is on November 15, 2019.
• Prepare invitation for the coming CELLs Launching on Oct. 28, 2019.
