25 endure some form of homelessness in the U.S. each year.
- LGBTQ youth are 120% more more likely to experience homelessness
than non-LGBTQ youth.

and reports on the systems, environment, and laws of all 50 states and D.C. as they relate to youth homelessness.
- The Index looks at 61 metrics in 50 states and District of Columbia,
assigning points up to 100.
