  5. Academic Landscape Scoping Study: Academic Landscape Scoping Study undertaken between October 2015 and March 2016 by DJS Research. Reported in March 2016 • Examined the changes occurring within the academic and research landscapes; • How these changes might affect TNA’s relationship with the academic community; • What is our current reputation amongst these groups. Identified TNA’s strong reputation for service provision. But cited its weakness in terms of research visibility, clarity of mission, and infrastructure. 5

  6. Academic Engagement and Research Roadmap: The roadmap offers…. • A collective staff response to the Scoping Study’s findings and recommendations 1. Clarify the role of research 2. Share research more effectively internally 3. Support research individually and corporately 4. Showcase research more effectively externally 5. Facilitate collaboration to maximise impact 6. Resource research to allow experimentation and underpin our credibility 6
