  23. • “Undoubtedly, students who are involved in meaningful activities do better than students who are not. At a minimum, I recommend that all students join a group that support their major. If one does not exist, then I suggest they find a club that supports networking and will allow them to become involved in the community they wish to work in, such as a service based club (Rotaract, Circle K, Alpha Phi Omega). If they are smart they should join the secondary honor societies in their discipline or college. I think this is more important than just joining a social or personal issue based club.
