ByAbstract Halal studies is a global education proposition ready to be the next world educational discipline market force. ASEAN has to play an active role in halal education since Muslims stress on the importance of the permissibility
ASEAN increase tremendously as a result of increasing the Muslims population in ASEAN countries. In this regards, various Islamic political policies have been implemented in Negara Brunei Darussalam for the purpose of disseminating and developing halal education in global and modern society. This paper is an attempt to highlight the experience of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA)’s halalan Thayyiban research Centre in disseminating halal science through halal education and research for global reach. The programme specifically caters for all applicants, with

It is uniquely designed to enhance the skills of students in
making professional decisions, expand and increase their knowledge which can help students to think, act and have piety towards Allah SWT .

It is a collection of subjects totaling 15 credits with at
least 50% (6 credits) of subjects in year 3 or above according to the programme offerings by the Centre/Department.

MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMME (BY COURSEWORK AND DISSERTATION)
Master (M.A) of Halal ManagementThe programme will equip students with advance and professional knowledge through courses and practices as well as expose them to the latest developments in the field of halal. Graduates of this programme can have a career in planning, management, research, academia and industry related to the management of halal industry.
Master (M.A) of Shariah and Halal LawsThis field of study focuses on Shariah laws and civil laws pertaining to the national and international halal industry. Development of new legal rules in accordance with the laws of the State, maqasid shariah and fiqh jurisprudence, policies, standards and fatwa for halal products is one of the main researches in this field. In addition, the administration of Islamic laws, international trade laws, consumer protection laws, laws of product liability and safety will also be studied.
Terms
graduation: Successfully completed the research/dissertation project (6 credits), and registered with at least 36 credit hours of the courses offered, and pass the courses including the Memorisation and Commentary of the Quran course (6 credits).
Mode of Teaching: Student-centered learning, i.e. case
study, seminar, forum, modules, problem-based learning, project-oriented learning, presentation and lectures.

CONCLUSION
The establishment of Pusat Penyelidikan Halalan Thayyiban (PPHT) @ Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre (HTRC) is an effort to uphold the command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei
UNISSA will be the first university in Brunei Darussalam to explore Halal Science and active in study & teaching, research and professional service.
2.Preparing and shaping the administrators/workers who follow the teachings of Islam in developing Brunei Darussalam and where needed at other countries around the globe.
