Hello, I am Ms. Lightfoot and this is my 6th year teaching at Cedar Fork Elementary, 8th year teaching third grade, and 11th year teaching in WCPSS. I love teaching and learning! My style of teaching is through the arts! I enjoy sparks of creativity and using the 4C’s to teach and learn. I’m excited about this school year!

North Carolina became my home in 2014. 4. My husband, Paul and my three little girls, Ava, Ella, and Olivia are my world. 5. I love spending time with my family; going on nature walks, swimming, watching movies, cooking and baking, and being silly. .

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to NC 25 years ago. I have been teaching for 19 years and this is my second year at Cedar Fork. I have a wife and two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family and building and fixing things around my house.
