 Over the last 18 months, a number of Territory

Directorates have worked together to revise and update the WHOG SFA template.

 Consultation with a focus group (members of the

FMNM) and the community sector.

 Important to note that while this is the base

document to use for engagement, like any template it won’t be perfect for every circumstance.

 The SFA template that is currently available was

  • riginally drafted based on a purchaser/provider

model more than 15 years ago and has only been reviewed periodically since then.

 Since then, there have been many changes to ACT

laws and government policies and processes.

 The template was no longer an efficient or relevant

document in many respects.

 The template has been updated so that it is

consistent with other Territory precedents already reviewed.

 Standard terms and conditions updated to reflect new

laws and policies.

 Outdated or unused provisions deleted or moved to

Schedules.

 Entire template streamlined – ‘cutting red tape’

initiative.
