  2.  Over the last 18 months, a number of Territory Directorates have worked together to revise and update the WHOG SFA template.  Consultation with a focus group (members of the FMNM) and the community sector.  Important to note that while this is the base document to use for engagement, like any template it won’t be perfect for every circumstance. 28/04/2016 2

  3.  The SFA template that is currently available was originally drafted based on a purchaser/provider model more than 15 years ago and has only been reviewed periodically since then.  Since then, there have been many changes to ACT laws and government policies and processes.  The template was no longer an efficient or relevant document in many respects. 28/04/2016 3

  4.  The template has been updated so that it is consistent with other Territory precedents already reviewed.  Standard terms and conditions updated to reflect new laws and policies.  Outdated or unused provisions deleted or moved to Schedules.  Entire template streamlined – ‘cutting red tape’ initiative.
