Pennsylvania to assess proficiency in the subject areas of Algebra I, English Literature and Biology.

In order to receive a diploma, students must also meet local district credit and attendance requirements and complete a culminating portfolio project, along with any additional district requirements.
Algebra I, English Literature and Biology. The Keystone Exam serves as a measure of student proficiency with this content. The students’ final grade in these courses will be adjusted in the summer to account for the Keystone Exam grade, which will be one fifth of the final grade, as is the case with all EOCAs. Students and parents will be notified of the final grade via mail and any scheduling adjustments necessary will be made before the start of the next school year.

This course is designed for students who have an interest in working in the fitness industry and will be operating in conjunction with the National Academy of Sports Medicine’s Certified Personal Trainer Program.
This course will provide students with knowledge about psychological factors and principles that affect performance in sports such as motivation, concentration, focus, confidence, peak performance, anxiety, and relaxation.
Safety/Lifeguarding course
Topics covered will include finding a job, budgeting and saving, post-secondary education, renting & buying a car and house, credit, investing, and insurance. Students will gain knowledge of budgeting using savings and checking while also understanding financing with credit.
SCIENCE
Honors Environmental Science is a laboratory course that examines the science behind local and global environmental issues. Topics include population ecology and dynamics, water quality, resource management, energy, atmospheric pollution, climate change, biodiversity, and agriculture.
