  • The original Colorado Governor’s Cup trophy was given with love

for the sport of sailboat racing to the Sailing Association of Intermountain Lakes (SAIL) by Bruce and Carole Bates of Bonny Lee Sails. The trophy was designed by Carl Jensen of Earthworks. This trophy is now used for the keelboat award. Jim Keesling and Rocky Mountain Boatworks provided the trophy for the dinghy award.
