If you have any questions, please contact presentations@asisonline.org How I Implemented Enterprise Risk Management at the California Academy of Sciences Title: How I Implemented Enterprise Risk Management at the California Academy of Sciences Abstract: Key experiences implementing a program of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at my organization. Transforming risk management from being done by limited silos into a truly organizational effort across institutional divisions and activities. This program will include (1) how to know if your organization is ready for ERM (requirements,) (2) how to structure, govern and create processes for ERM, and (3) offer some implementation strategies and tools that have proven effective in setting up and operating ERM. Topic/Track: Organizational resilience Learning Objectives: Attendees will learn to evaluate the readiness an organization to adopt an Enterprise Risk Management program. In other words, what are the requirements to begin a program of Enterprise Risk Management? Participants will learn key elements of effective governance, structure and processes for Enterprise Risk Management. Leaders will learn implementation strategies and tools for setting up a successful Enterprise Risk Management function.
