Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who had to

face the hardships of the difficult time of Adolf Hitler`s rule

Anne was one in a family of 4: her mother was

called Edith Frank, the father of Anne was Otto Frank and her sister was Margot Frank

This juvenile girl was born in Frankfurt,

Germany, 12th June 1929 and grew up their until the age of 4( which was when Hitler became the leader of Germany). She loved writing, riding her bike and she had many friends

She is famous for the diary that she wrote in

which described what everything was like during the World War ll

Hitler`s rule

After Hitler became Germany`s leader, in

1933, Anne and her family moved to Amsterdam in Netherlands; Hitler`s hatred towards them made the jews lives very difficult. Jews were forbidden to do many things such as: running businesses, going out at the time that they were told not to and weren`t allowed to be at parks, restaurants, swimming pools and many other places. Also, they were forced to wear a yellow star.

The secret Annexe

In spite of the war going on, Anne`s thirteenth birthday arrived and the Franks family still celebrated her birthday

happily. She was given presents and

amongst those presents, she saw a diary. Anne decided to name her diary "Kitty" and she wrote in Kitty everyday. Whilst Anne was just 13, her family had to hide away in a secret attic which was built by Anne`s dad- Otto- Frank. For two years, they managed to survive in the secret Annexe until the Nazis discovered their hiding place and captured them.

The end of the war

Just a few months towards the end
f the war, Anne and her sister died

from a disease called Typhus. Months later, Adolf Hitler commit suicide and World war ll ended

there. Anne`s diary was published by

her father as he was the only survivor of the family.

translated into 70 different languages

" Anne" was just a nickname; her

real name is " Annelies Marie Frank"
