THE NEED: U.S. Veterans face significant barriers to civilian employment, and a high unemployment rate. 3.4 Million manufacturing jobs will be needed

  • ver the next decade and 2 Million jobs will go

unfulfilled due to the lack of a skilled workforce. MEETING THE NEED: WFW’s work serves the dual benefit of providing Veterans with life-sustaining careers, and helping to regrow America’s manufacturing workforce. WFW graduates are prepared for jobs by earning nationally recognized credentials and hands-on- training. 80% of American manufacturers surveyed reported a moderate or serious shortage of qualified applicants for skilled and highly-skilled production positions.

OUR MISSION

To provide quality training, educational programs, and

  • pportunities to earn third party nationally recognized

credentials to enable veterans, transitioning service members, and other students to be successfully trained and placed in their chosen advanced manufacturing career field.

Workshops for Warriors is a board-run, fully audited, 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering veterans free training and certification in advanced manufacturing skills.

We address two social issues that are negatively impacting society—veteran and wounded warrior unemployment and declining manufacturing pipeline of skilled workers.
