Summer 2017 fixtures will be emailed to all registered contacts no later than Sunday 26 March 2017. The website should also be updated to show these fixtures. Match cards can be collected by teams tonight, or from Saturday onwards at the new match-card drop off location, THE ALEXANDRA in EDGELEY. A NEW ERA? Many of you will know, Ant, Bob and Graham have left the committee. Only few of you will know exactly how much actual time and effort they put into running this league. Please take a moment of your time to thank them, and try not to get them too drunk tonight - I don’t want Bob moaning at me again for the next two weeks! Club Replay has been regarded by many as Stockport’s home of pool. And sad news was announced last week of it’s closure, causing a shock-wave to spread across the nation. Having been evicted from their settlements, Replay teams grabbed their balls and began scouring the land in search of new pastures. Reports came in of several sightings over the weekend. One team was spotted pallbearing their pool table across the A6. Other teams were seen jumping on a northerly train and heading for the border. And another team was seen sat on Replay’s doorstep scratching their heads. Surely all this can’t be true.. can it? So it’s fairwell to Club Replay and a big thank you to Dan, Horace and Janet for their help and support to our league.
