J studied multimedia before moving onto a Supported Internship. He now works within HR department at H&F Council . N completed two years at College and was successful in gaining office work. He returned to study and has just qualified as a tree surgeon. B transitioned from Cambridge School and completed one year at College.She has secured paid work for the summer and will start her Internship in September. J transitioned from residential college has not been successful YET in securing employment, he has applied for two supported employment

Progression

I really don't know where to begin to describe the ways that J has benefited. I have listed below some of the comments from friends, other teachers and family but I'm sure I have left some things out!

  • J has learnt to make very good choices around

choosing healthy food even though there are a lot of tempting things on offer in the canteen

  • Jacob is so confident and holds his head up now to

look at who he is speaking to

  • J is learning more easily now because he is more

committed and focused

  • J loves introducing people to each other and talks

about the things he likes more confidently

  • J is easier to understand
  • J is so happy at his college and wants to tell everyone

about it There is so much more..... We thank you for your amazing support, your understanding of the potential of these very special young adults and the supportive environment where J is finding it so much easier to make friends and to sustain
